A Special Gluten-Free Cooking Event
I recently had the pleasure of hosting a gluten-free cooking class in collaboration with the Coeliac Society of Ireland alongside Frances Buckley, The Gluten-Free Chef. As a mum of a coeliac child, this event was particularly close to my heart. I understand how overwhelming a coeliac diagnosis can feel at the beginning. However, I also know that gluten-free cooking becomes much easier with the right support, knowledge and practical guidance.

Practical Tips and Everyday Recipes
During the class, we shared practical tips, simple gluten-free recipes and time-saving kitchen ideas. We focused on meals that are suitable for everyday life and can help make gluten-free cooking easier for busy families. Using the Thermomix, we demonstrated how quickly fresh, homemade gluten-free meals can be prepared. In addition, we discussed ways to simplify meal planning and make the most of everyday ingredients.

Building Confidence in the Kitchen
For many people, the biggest challenge is not finding recipes. Instead, it is gaining confidence in the kitchen and learning how to cook safely. Therefore, our goal was to provide practical ideas that attendees could use straight away. We wanted everyone to leave feeling inspired, motivated and more confident in preparing gluten-free meals at home.

The Power of Community
One of the highlights of the day was the wonderful atmosphere. Participants shared experiences, asked questions and exchanged useful tips. As a result, the class felt supportive, welcoming and engaging. It was fantastic to see so many people interested in making gluten-free cooking simpler, safer and more enjoyable.
